Circumnavigating Wales – to raise money for charity

STAFF and members of the FUW will be stepping out to support the President’s Charities Farming Community Network and the Alzheimer’s Society in an attempt to walk a total of 870 miles ‐ the circumference of Wales!

The plan is to encourage even more participants in this years walk as we come together to meet the challenge. The day will be a fun occasion with no‐one left behind.

Three different ability groups will set off from Tan‐y‐Bwlch beach, Aberystwyth on June 21, walking south along the coast path, with the aim of completing the combined distance.

Organiser and policy officer

hoping for a great response
from both FUW staff and
members alike with a choice one day.of walks for serious hikers and

Last year’s charity event ‐ to climb Snowdon three times in

gentle ramblers. At the end of the day we will head back to FUW headquarters in Gogerddan for a beer and a BBQ to celebrate our combined achievements.”
