FLINTSHIRE account executive Elwyn Davies worked for the union for over 23 years and retired at the end of January. He was based at the Mold office and recently at the Ruthin office. He saw a number of changes during the years and came to know his customers well, dealing with farming families which had become friends along the way. He was popular with the members and they speak highly of his loyalty and continued support, he will be missed by members and also by the staff at the Ruthin office. Elwyn will now have a chance to spend more time with his family, especially his two young grandsons, Max and Jac, and tend to his flock of around 100 crossbred ewes on his smallholding.
