Y trefnwyr yn cyflwyno’r siec yn ddiweddar.
Yn ôl ar ddiwrnod braf yn Awst, cynhaliwyd diwrnod cneifio elusennol yn nhafarn Y Ring, Rhosgoch. Dyma oedd diwrnod llawn hwyl a chymdeithasu i’r teulu oll, gyda chystadlu brwd trwy gydol y dydd, ocsiwn fawr, ac yna gig gan Celt a Fleur De Lys gyda’r nos.
Mae ‘Cneifio Ring’ yn ddigwyddiad poblogaidd, ac yn un sy’n cael ei gynnal yn flynyddol ers 1992. Parti ymadael i’r cneifwyr oedd yn dod drosodd o Seland Newydd drost yr Haf, ydoedd yn wreiddiol, cyn iddo ddatblygu i fod yn ddigwyddiad elusennol yn yr 2000au. Ers hynny, mae’n ddigwyddiad sydd yn atynu tyrfa bob blwyddyn.
Yr ocsiwn addewidion yw’r prif ffynhonell o godi arian, gyda dros 120 o eitiemau yn cael eu rhoi gan fusnesau lleol a chefnogwyr y digwyddiad. Mae’r eitemau yn amrywio o lwyth o dail ieir i botel o wisgi! Diolch i’r busnesau lleol a’r cefnogwyr am y rhoddion hael.
Eleni, cafodd swm anhygoel o £24,108.36 ei gasglu, ac fe’i rannwyd yn gyfartal rhwng Ambwilans Awyr Cymru ac Adran Argyfwng Ysbyty Gwynedd. Llongyfarchiadau mawr i’r holl drefnwyr a diolch am eu gwaith di-flino. Rydym nawr yn edrych ymlaen at ddigwyddiad 2019!
On a nice day back in August, a charity shearing day was held at The Ring, Rhosgoch. This was a fun and social day for all the family, with enthusiastic competitions held throughout the day, a grand auction, followed by a Celt and Fleur De Lys gig in the evening. ‘Cneifio Ring’ is a popular event, and one that has been held annually since 1992. It was originally a departure party for shearers who had come over from New Zealand for the summer, and then it developed into a charity event in the noughties. Since then, it is an event that attracts a crowd every year. The promise auction is the main source of fundraising, with over 120 items donated by local businesses and supporters of the event. The items range from a load of chicken manure to a bottle of whiskey! Thank you to all the local businesses and supporters for their generous donations. This year, an incredible amount of £24,108.36 was raised, and it was split equally between the Wales Air Ambulance and Ysbyty Gwynedd Emergency Department. Congratulations to all the organisers and thank you for their tireless efforts. We look forward to 2019’s event!
