The Glamorgan branch of the FUW have been helping FUW members, the agricultural team at St Fagans National Museum of history, with SAF mapping and Glastir queries as a number of new developments have opened at the museum.
A number of changes were made to their SAF maps a few years ago when new attractions were introduced and there have been queries from Welsh Government in relation to this, meaning that many fields have had to be re- mapped. help was needed with their Glastir contract to make sure that the mapping updates complied with the Glastir requirements.
New developments at St Fagans National Museum of history include the improved main building which has recently re-opened with a new reception area, shop and café and learning centre. Gweithdy, a new building for craft and making, is the newest building on site. New galleries in both buildings will open in 2018.
