CEREDIGION

Ffarwelio / Goodbye

Mae Mared Rand Jones, y swyddog gweithredol sirol dros Ceredigion wedi ffarwelio gyda’r undeb ers diwedd mis Mawrth. Mae Mared yn mynd i weithio yng Nghymdeithas Sioe Frenhinol Cymru fel pennaeth gweithrediadau.

Rydym ni’n hynod o drist i weld Mared yn gadael yr undeb ond yn falch iawn nad ydi hi’n mynd yn bell iawn ac y bydd yn cyd-weithio yn agos gyda’r undeb ar gyfer y Sioe Frenhinol, Ffair Aeaf a’r Ffair Wanwyn.

Gweithiodd Mared yn ddiwyd iawn dros aelodau Ceredigion gan ddod ag asbri a hwyl i’r swyddfa yn Llambed. Fe welwn ei cholli hi’n fawr iawn. Ar ôl derbyn nifer helaeth o geisiadau i lenwi swydd Mared rydym wedi penodi merch leol arall i’r rôl: Caryl Haf Jones.

Dwi’n siŵr bod Caryl Haf yn wyneb ac enw cyfarwydd i nifer o amaethwyr Ceredigion. Mi fydd Caryl yn gadael ei swydd gyda CCF (Clynderwen and Cardiganshire Farmers) ac yn ymuno a’r undeb ar ddechrau mis Mai. Mae Caryl hefyd yn is-gadeirydd CFfI Ceredigion.

Neges gan Mared:

Hoffwn gymryd y cyfle i ddiolch yn fawr iawn i chi am eich cefnogaeth a’ch cyfeillgarwch wrth weithio gyda’r undeb. Rwyf wedi mwynhau cyd-weithio gyda chi’r aelodau. Bydd Emma Davies y swyddog gweinyddol ac Aled Jones, swyddog gweithredol sirol Sir Frycheiniog a Maesyfed yn cynorthwyo gyda’r ffurflenni Taliadau Sengl yn ystod mis Ebrill a Mai, felly rydych mewn dwylo da a phrofiadol. Diolch.

Mared Rand Jones, the county executive officer for Ceredigion, has left the union since the end of March. Mared is going to work for the Royal Welsh Show Society as head of operations. We are very sad to see Mared leaving the union but glad that she isn’t going very far and will work closely with the union with the Royal Welsh Show, Winter Fair and the Spring Fair. Mared worked extremely diligently on behalf of the members of Ceredigion and brought

enthusiasm and fun to the office in Lampeter. We will miss her greatly. We have appointed another local girl to the role: Caryl Haf Jones. I’m sure Caryl Haf is a familiar face and name for many Ceredigion farmers. Caryl will be leaving her post with CCF (Clunderwen and Cardiganshire Farmers) and will join the union at the beginning of May. Caryl is also the vice chairman of Ceredigion YFC.

Message from Mared: I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and friendship whilst working with the union. I have enjoyed working with you the members. Emma Davies, administrative assistant and Aled Jones, Brecon and Radnor county executive officer will assist with the SAF forms during April and May, so you are in experienced hands. Thank you.
